M. West gave a presentation on GoTo scopes, including a demonstration on setting them up and the information required to be entered. He uses two Web sites for lat/long and magnetic declination:

The Branch family used the PST on two days, seeing sunspots on one of those days. P Owen caught a double shadow transit on Jupiter. C. Curwin had 54 visitors looking through his scopes at Saints Rest Beach and he was featured in the Telegraph-Journal and The Weekly Current

SHOW & TELL, BUY & SELL |
Co. Brown offered the cage of her Lightbridge, claimed by. C Curwin. J. Shi had donated books and magazines and scope rings, which were snapped up thank you Jacky!). D Branch bought the Audubon Guide to the Night Sky, and A Huskins had a glass solar filter for sale at $60. A raffle was held for a Meade 90 mm refractor, donated by P Webb, which was won by R Armstrong. The raffle took in $131. S Thorn donated a book The Solar System, which went as a runner up prize. Thank you Phil and Sonia!
