OBSERVING REPORTS P. Owen had a great view of Orion; D. Schedlar Jr saw the Big Dipper; D. McCashion observed Comet Catalina and saw the tail with averted vision; T. Raithby gave a heads up for possible aurorae on the weekend (check the NOAA website; J. MacDonald recommended a NASA website for amateur astronomers: www.spacescience.org/starchitect.
 
ASTRONOMY TALK P. Owen gave an interesting talk on the Kennedy Space Center with photos from his visit.
 
SHOW & TELL, BUY & SELL D. Schedlar showed his new books The Cosmic Tourist, Deep Sky Wonders, and Hubble Legacy.
 
BINOCULAR RAFFLE Celeston 25X70 (donated by P. Webb) won by A. West. Skylight 16X50 won by D. Schedlar Jr. Amount raised was $83.
