OBSERVING REPORTS |
There were about 225 visitors at the lunar eclipse event at Irving Nature Park on Sept 27. C. Clayton noticed an occultation of a star during the eclipse. C. Curwin watched the eclipse with family in Alberta. Some commented on the eclipsed Moon looking darker than for other eclipses. J. MacDonald said we were invited to participate in Amazeatorium next year. The consensus was it is not a good outreach event and we will not participate.

|
SHOW & TELL, BUY & SELL |
P. Owen drew great interest in clocks he had made using his eclipse photos as the background. Both he and D. McCashion showed their eclipse photos. J. MacDonald brought a "broken" laser pointer that gave multiple starry-like green dots.
