Branch takes the 90 mm refractor and the books Backyard Astronomer's Guide and Moon Observer's Guide. A. Bordage has the 4.5" Dob. P Jensen donated two Starry Night DVDs, E. Kaine borrowed one.

A. Bordage, T. Matthews, M. West, A. West D. Beaudin and C. Nason did observing for the Sheldon's Point Moonlight Hikers (125) on Feb. 28, showing the Moon, Jupiter, M42, Comet Lovejoy and other objects. B. MacNutt saw a fireball.

M. West gave a presentations on earthquakes, moonquakes and seismic activity on other bodies, using slides from a university friend.

C. Nason brought an Ioptron smart phone holder for imaging through a telescope, a gift from the INP. M. Arsenault borrowed it to try out. M. Giberson brought a book Astronomy to sell.

C. Nason used Stellarium to talk about some prominent winter constellations.

RAFFLE |
After break, P. Webb raffled 20x50 binoculars plus a mount and strap, and donated the money to the club. Thank you, Phil! T. Siddall won the draw.

P. Owen showed of sunspots, solar prominences, the Moon-Venus-Mars grouping, and Comet Lovejoy.

M. Powell gave a very entertaining on Pluto's characteristics, history, and on the New Horizons flyby this year.
