BUSINESS M. & A. West take the PST. D. Chase retains the club scope. The Astroscan is being repaired. J. Davidson retains the 90 mm refractor. N. & E. Bauman retain the 4.5" Dob. A. West returned Backyard Astronomer's Guide but will retain it for the month. E. O'Reilly gave an update on the IAU Exoplanet naming initiative. Names have been submitted by the club and we await confirmation of acceptance.
 
WHAT'S UP C. Nason covered what to observe over the next month.
 
OBSERVING REPORTS M. West observed the Moon and Jupiter with his new Meade Star Navigator 90. A. Bordage has been observing the Sun in H-Alpha. K. Keith was part of a Sky & Tel trip to Iceland to observe aurorae. E. Bauman was observing the lunar craters with the club's 4.5" Dob. C. Curwin did two public observing sessions at Saints Rest Beach. P. Owen did observing in Costa Rica.
 
ASTRONOMY TALK "We've Come for an Eclipse Down Under" by C. Szabototh. Charlie gave an entertaining slide show / video presentation of a trip he and his wife made to Australia in 2012 to capture a total solar eclipse.
 
SHOW & TELL, BUY & SELL P. Webb displayed his new 25-125x80 binoculars. A. West brought a Mars globe. M. West showed a book on the Moon by Alan Dyer. C. Nason had the 2015 Sky Watch magazine. A. Bordage brought an 80 mm F/5 Orion refractor.
 
ASTRONOMY TALK "Astro Zoo" by M. West. Matt covered a list of fascinating astronomy Web sites (see attachment or Web site).
