P. Webb, A. Bordage and C. Nason observed the huge sunspot that recently rotated off. June obtained some very good SQM readings in Cape Breton. M. West was observing along the Milky Way.

Binocular Observing (P. Webb). Phil talked on how to use binos, the different types, steadying the view with tripods and other methods, and accessories.

Rosetta Mission (J. MacDonald). June gave a history of the Rosetta mission to a comet. She included the instruments on the Rosetta probe and the Philae lander.
