A. Huskins retains the PST. J. Davidson retains the club scope. The Astroscan is being repaired. A. Bordage took the 90 mm refractor. A. Bordage brought a 4.5" Dob that was donated by Sarah Thorne (thank you Sarah). No one claimed it so Adrien took it home. A. West retains Backyard Astronomer's Guide. Election results: President: Curt Nason; VP: Phil Webb; Secretary: Adrien Bordage; Treasurer: Don MacPhail. E. O'Reilly gave summary of the exoplanet naming project and was made 2VP to act on behalf of the club with that project.

OBSERVING REPORTS |
Some saw a fireball during public observing at the INP the night before. A. and M. West observed Jupiter at Fundy Park Sept. 21 and showed some Moon photos taken with their phones.E. O'Reilly and D. McCashion observed aurora on Sept. 12. P. Owen observed M27 and has recently taken astrophotos of the Moon, Sun and nebulae.

M. West had an old, large book on Mars. S. Thorn brought a book of Hubble images. A. Bordage displayed his Quark solar filter.

ASTRONOMY TALK |
M. West gave a great talk from his university days on mapping Venus using Magellan radar data, explaining radar and how images can explain the terrain of the planet.
