A. Huskins takes the PST. J. Davidson has the club scope. The Astroscan might be repaired; P. Jensen offered his Astroscan if needed. E. O'Reilly reported on the IAU initiative to allow astronomy groups to vote on proper names for exoplanets. Ed will check on what is needed for a registration number, and whether the Sky & Tel subscription number is sufficient.

OBSERVING REPORTS |
P. Jensen saw an extended solar prominence at Mactaquac. P. Owen imaged the Moon the previous night, and remarked on an S near the terminator. D. MacPhail had his SJAC shirt recognized in Galveston. D. McCashion observed Mars, Saturn and M13 from his yard. C. Nason located Comet Jacques. E. O'Reilly, S. Tompkins ad others might have located Comet Catalina with the 20" at Mactaquac. A. Huskins visited the church in Lunenburg with the constellations painted on the ceiling. E. Baumann saw the supermoon in his scope. Many reported seeing brilliant red or orange sunsets.
