WHAT'S UP C. Nason covered what to observe over the next month.
 
OBSERVING A&M West observed Venus. C. Nason saw Mercury. D. Beaudin showed some astrophotos he took. D. McCashion watched an ISS pass. P. Webb has been observing sunspots.
 
SHOW & TELL, BUY & SELL A. West brought a Hawking DVD and a Stellar Scope viewer. M. West had an interesting collection of NASA memorabilia. P. Owen donated Backyard Astronomer's Guide (Thanks, Paul!). C. Nason brought a book on comets from 1909. A&M West had a pair of binoculars to give away (snapped up by T. P-M).
 
ASTRONOMY TALK The Kuiper Belt: J. MacDonald described the objects in the Kuiper Belt, Oort Cloud and in between.
 
ASTRONOMY TALK Messier Objects: C. Nason gave a history of the Messier catalogue.
