WHAT'S UP C. Nason covered what to observe over the next month.
 
OBSERVING A. Martin and M. Goodine observed Jupiter, Venus and M42. M. Powell had an all planet night last autumn. A. West was observing Jupiter. D. McCashion and C. Nason both observed the Geminid meteor shower. D. McCashion and E. O'Reilly observed Comet Lovejoy in binoculars. B. Hitchcock was impressed with a crater on the quarter 3 Moon.
 
SHOW & TELL, BUY & SELL G. McKendrick got Night Sky Atlas and Explore the Night Sky books for Christmas. M. Powell had a print of the old observatory on Douglas Avenue (from a century ago). June got an Orion XT-8 scope, books and DVD for Christmas. P. Jensen had Chris Hadfield's book. C. Nason brought two old astronomy books from e-Bay purchases.
