C. Nason reviewed what to observe over the next month.

OBSERVING |
Dave B. saw Comet K5 LINEAR near M36. Adrien and Cut had been observing sunspots. Mike observed the Moon-Jupiter conjunction. Bob was observing the open clusters in Auriga and saw a couple of bright Geminids. Ed saw 12 Geminids in 15 minutes.

Neil M. gave a good history of the discovery of black holes.

SHOW AND TELL |
Mike brought a chuckle with his Galileo bobblehead. He also has a Hydrogen Beta filter. Bob brought Sky Atlas 2000.0 Field Edition. Curt had an old book Romance of Comets. June got a DVD season 6 of The Universe, books Voyage to the Planets, Dictionary of Astronomy and Maria Mitchell: The Sexing of Science. Adrien showed a 90 mm Meade refractor be bought at Costco.
