WHAT'S UP C. Nason reviewed what to observe over the next month.
 
OBSERVING Chris Curwin was showing family and friends the Moon and Jupiter. Al H. saw the zodiacal light one morning, maybe. Dave B. showed pictures he took of Uranus and 44 Piscium over 3 days. Curt saw Mercury and Comet Hergenrother. Ed O. gave an update on next year's Comet ISON. Bob H. saw Io's shadow on Jupiter.
 
SHOW AND TELL Steve T. showed the 8" Dob he won in the RASCNB raffle, and subsequently stephanated it (although it doesn't sing yet). Curt brought a magazine on taking astrophotos and a book on Caroline Herschel (Comet Sweeper). Bob H. gave a tale of woe and lessons learned on buying a scope on e-Bay.
 
ASTRONOMY TALK Curt gave a talk (prepared by Mike Powell) on globular clusters.
