BUSINESS Cr. Brown retains the club scope. C. Curwin took the solar scope. Theo returned Moon Observer's Guide and Corey borrowed it. Ed O. returned The Universe. Dave B. returned Disc 10. Curt will contact Rockwood Park staff about having a public observing event this fall.
 
WHAT'S UP C. Nason reviewed what to observe over the next month. Ed gave a heads up on the Pan-STARRS comet due in the spring.
 
OBSERVING Curt did an observing session for 8 people in St. Andrews. Mike and Chris saw bolides at the Fundy star party on Friday and Saturday nights. Neil saw a meteor-like object and we spent some time suggesting what it could have been. Corey was out observing after the previous meeting, attempting to identify objects.
 
SHOW AND TELL June had a kids' book, Dot-to-Dot Stories and Planets. Curt brought a book on sunquakes. Corey mentioned that National Geographic is coming out with a beautiful book.
 
SLIDE SHOW Mike played a slide show of star party pictures from the summer, set to spacey music, and followed that up with Eric Idle's Galaxy Song. June ended the meeting with more star party pictures.
