June discussed getting a club banner and will ask T. Dunphy if he will make one. Club shirts will be ordered again, probably in autumn, but people can get them from Lester's Trophies on their own.

Club members supported the aMAZEatorium display and mall displays for Astronomy Day. Curt did observing at Wal Mart for Astronomy Week.

| ASTRONOMY TALK |
Peter gave Part 2 of a talk on the Magnetic Sun, discussing prominences, flares, coronal holes, the formation of sunspots and the sunspot cycle.

| SHOW AND TELL |
Peter had a book, Treasures of the Southern Sky. Mike P. displayed some large star charts on the computer and donated two books: The Universe in 365 Days, and Outer Space in Your Pocket. Thanks Mike! Curt had two books: Romance of Astronomy and A world Without Gravity. June brought a book, Wonders of the Universe.. Kim M. brought a book Our Universe and donated Astronomy. Thanks Kim!
