| OBSERVING REPORTS |
Marc participated in Globe at Night in Orion, watched the Moon conjunctions with Venus and Jupiter, saw the 36 hour Moon, and saw Mercury. Curt saw Jupiter and Venus naked eye in daylight. June has been observing the sky from her home. Al had been out adding to his Messier list. Peter and his son Joe were observing sunspots and prominences.

June gave a biographical summary of Dr. Jocelyn Bell-Burnell, the discoverer of pulsars.

Peter brought his Coronado 60 mm solar scope and Lunt zoom eyepiece. Curt had a book "The Heliosphere through the Solar Activity Cycle."
