OBSERVING Chris M.observed the Double Cluster; Dave D. was observing at Mt. Carleton over Thanksgiving; George J. watched a storm on Jupiter; Chris C. has been plotting a light curve for Mira; Shawn M. did light surveys with a Sky Quality Meter for SE NB; Al H, Mike P and Curt N. did a talk and observing session at St. martins School; Adrien B. and Curt N. did a talk at Brundage Point and others helped with observing after.
 
CONSTELLATION TALK Curt gave a talk on Capricornus, which currently hosts Jupiter and Neptune.
 
APOD June M. showed a couple pics from Astronomy Picture of the Day: Stickney Crater on Phobos, and M57.
 
SHOW AND TELL Steve T. had a book on the Moon; Curt N. had a Tuthill polar finder.
 
BUSINESS Club scope: (Ed Kaine); PST (Mike Powell); 1 copy of NightWatch (Ed Stansfield); Pocket Sky Atlas (S. Thorn); DVD “Understanding the Universe, Parts 2&8 (K. Horgan), Part 5 (J. Dunlap), Part 3 (Dave Beaudin), Part 4 (Frank Loomer); Christmas Party - This will be December 5 at St. Anne's church on Simpson Drive (Glen Falls).
