Curt highlighted what to look for in the sky and the events coming up for the next month.

| OBSERVING |
Myrtle was watching Jupiter and the ISS. Angela and Marc watched the ISS pass on fireworks night. Mike took a photo of sunspots. Allan has been seeing lots of stuff in in new scope. Chris C. has been doing variable star magnitude estimate of R Scuti and Mira using binos. Adrienhad two good nights of observing at Kouchibouguac. Chris M. observed M31, M13, M92 and Jupiter. Curt, Ed and 3 Daves did public observing at Long Beach. Curt did starbusking at WalMart and Sussex Superstore.

| RASC GA report |
Adrien gave a slide presentation on the RASC meeting at Cypress Hills Dark Sky Preserve.

| SHOW AND TELL |
Mike brought an Orion fanny pack for eyepieces and filters, and a beautiful 6" refractor. Adrien had two scopes he bought at the GA: a Celestron 3" F/4 Firstscope and a 5.1" F/5 with collapsible truss tubes.

Thorn; Shawn has the Mars book; Ed Kaine still has “Cosmic Perspective”; no one took “Backyard Astronomer's Guide”;
Christmas Party - This will be December 5 at St. Anne's church on Simpson Drive (Glen Falls). Curt will send out invitations by e-mail to anyone who has attended a meeting this year. Cost will be $20 - $25 per person.
