WHAT'S UP Curt covered the things to watch for in the sky over the month.
 
OBSERVING George Jones saw the Coathanger Cluster and M13 in Binos; Dave Driscoll with his new 10" Royce Newtonian saw one of Jupiter's moons come out of eclipse about the same time another went into occultation; Curt saw Mercury and Comet Boattini one morning; Myrtle saw Saturn and Mars.
 
CONSTELLATION TALK Corona Borealis (by June ) - Covered the mythology of Theseus and Ariadne. The constellation contains several nice double stars and a recurrent nova (the Blaze Star).
 
SHOW AND TELL Curt had an 1884 book "The Myths and Marvels of Astronomy"; George had "Photographic Atlas of the Moon"; Roy displayed a single arm mount he built for his 4" refractor.
 
ASTROPHOTOS Dave Beaudin displayed some wide field astrophotos he has taken of the moon, an eclipse, planets and Regulus with the crescent Moon.
 
BUSINESS Club Scope - Marc, PST (Shawn). The Cosmic Perspective (Ken M.). Destiny in Space DVD (Roy), Backyard Astronomer's Guide (Sonia);
 
APOD Curt did a top 10 selection of pictures from Astronomy Picture of the Day over the past two months.
 
Ask the Astronomer June asked about colours in astrophotos, answered by Dave. Roy asked about the recent discovery of what drives the aurora. Curt attempted an answer.
